SP Wappinger – Poughkeepsie woman arrested for Drug Possession

PRESS RELEASE
On September 16, 2017, the New York State Police from the Wappinger barracks arrested Vanessa M. Robinson, age 23, of Poughkeepsie, New York, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fifth Degree, a Class D Felony, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.

On September 16, 2017, at about 1:15 AM, Troopers conducted a traffic stop on New Hackensack Road in the Town of Wappinger. Subsequent to a vehicle search, the driver Vanessa Robinson was found to be in possession of a small quantity of Cocaine and Suboxone.

Robinson was arraigned at the Town of Wappinger Justice Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 property bond. If waived, Robinson is next scheduled to appear before the Town of Wappinger Justice Court on September 20, 2017, at 5:30 PM.
