Kathleen P. Green, 79, passed away in Wappingers Falls, NY on Thursday, September 14, 2017.
A Pawling resident since 1961, she was born in Union City, NJ on July 25, 1938 to Joseph and Katherine (Mahurter) Prandoni. She married Oliver Wendell “Wick” Green in Winter Park, FL on June 8, 1959; Wick predeceased Kathy on October 1, 2015.
Kathy was a real estate agent for Century 21in Brewster, as well as a Mary Kay cosmetics consultant, and a former library aid at Pawling High School. She was also a past member of St. John’s Church Catholic Daughters of America.
She is survived by her son, Stewart Green, and his wife, Lisa, of Mamaroneck, NY; her daughter, Melanie Cassells, and her husband, Gary, of New Milford, CT; two sisters, Claire Fairnington, and her husband, William, of Miami, FL and Joann Devane of Orlando, FL; five grandchildren, Matthew & Rosemary Green of Mamaroneck, Cathryn Ensley of Greencastle, IN, Andrew Krebs of Newtown, CT, and Evan Cassells of New Milford, CT; and four great-grandchildren, Boyd & Elyse Ensley and Gareth & Charlotte Krebs.
Friends may call at the Horn & Thomes, Inc. Funeral Home, 83 East Main Street, Pawling, NY Monday, September 18th from 4-7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, September 20th at 10 AM at St. John’s Church, Pawling; burial will follow in Pawling Cemetery, Pawling.
