Poughkeepsie men arrested on drug charges following search warrant

PRESS RELEASE  

On September 15, 2017, the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team (CNET) in conjunction with the City of Poughkeepsie Police Neighborhood Recovery Unit (NRU) and the NYSP Special Operations Response Team, conducted a narcotics investigation which resulted in the execution of a search warrant at 56 Noxon Street, Apartment #2, Poughkeepsie, NY.

The search warrant resulted in the arrest of Marvin Hill, 28, a convicted felon and currently on parole, who was found to possess an amount of fentanyl and cocaine, and various drug paraphernalia.  Hill was charged with Criminal Sale and Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree, class B Felonies. Hill was arraigned in the City of Poughkeepsie Court, and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail without bail.

Also arrested was Sandy Cause, 21, who was found to possess an amount of heroin and crack cocaine. Cause was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, and was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the City of Poughkeepsie Court.
