More than 80 regional companies and organizations with positions to fill or services to offer job seekers will be in attendance, so dress to impress and be sure to bring lots of résumés.
The day will also feature staff from the Dutchess One Stop Career Center conducting two complimentary workshops to help attendees get the most out of their job seeking experience. “How to Maximize your LinkedIn Profile – Professional Networking” will be held at 11:30 a.m. and “The Art of Upward Mobility” will be held at 1:30 p.m.
“How to Maximize your LinkedIn Profile – Professional Networking” will teach attendees how to assess their own profiles and improve their profile layout and information, while new users will learn how to use the site to develop their careers and network professionally.
“The Art of Upward Mobility” will focus on identifying the skills needed for upward mobility and seek training or on-the-job opportunities for developing those skills.
