Robert Greco, 62, a resident of Holmes, NY since 1987, passed away Friday, September 8, 2017 at Vassar Bros. Medical Center, Poughkeepsie, NY.
Born in the Bronx on April 8, 1955, he was the son of Richard and Margaret (Hillier) Greco. Bob graduated from Millbrook High School in 1973, and married Diana Pine at the Verbank United Methodist Church on December 10, 1978. He joined the NYSP on February 20, 1978, and was a Senior Scuba Diver in Troop K and was part of the NYSP Marine patrol until he made Sergeant on August 15, 1991. He also worked in the Peekskill, Brewster, and Hawthorne barracks.
Bob was a member of the Pawling Pistol Club and the Pawling United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Diana, at home; his son, Jesse, of Stormville; and his mother, Margaret Greco, of Brewster. In addition to his family, Bob was surrounded by many good friends.
He is predeceased by his father, Richard, and his sister, Lorraine Greco, who passed away this past February.
Friends may call at the Horn & Thomes, Inc. Funeral Home, 83 East Main Street, Pawling, Tuesday, September 12th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be conducted at the Pawling United Methodist Church, 2 Dutcher Avenue, Pawling on Wednesday at 10 AM. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
