State Police in Wappinger arrest Poughkeepsie woman for Criminal Impersonation and Falsifying Business Records

On August 31, 2017, the New York State Police from the Wappinger barracks arrested Yajaira Bernabel, age 42, of Poughkeepsie, New York, for Criminal Impersonation in the Second Degree and Falsifying Business Records in the Second Degree, both Class A Misdemeanors.
An investigation concluded that Bernabel had opened up a credit card in a complainant’s name without permission to do so.
Bernabel was issued an Appearance Ticket returnable to the Village of Wappingers Falls Court on September 13, 2017, at 5:00 PM.
