Philip Hampe, of Troy, NY, formerly of Patterson, NY, died on Tuesday August 15, 2017 at Albany Medical Center. He was 80 years old.
Philip was born on January 31, 1937 in Patterson, NY, son to the late Philip and Helen (Horack) Hampe. Philip attended the Carmel School district. In his youth he was a carpenter working for his father. He was also a laborer with the Putnam County Highway Department in Patterson and worked on a local farm milking cows. Most recently he was a blacktop worker in Upstate, NY until 2002. He also greatly enjoyed fishing and camping.
A funeral service will be held on Friday August 18, 2017 at 23 South Street, Patterson, NY at 2pm. Visitation will be held prior at the Funeral Home beginning at 12pm. Interment will follow at Maple Avenue Cemetery, Patterson, NY.
Philip will be greatly missed by his dear friends.
