Poughkeepsie woman arrested following traffic stop in the Town of Wappinger

PRESS RELEASE
Wappinger, New York – On August 10, 2017, New York State Police from the Wappinger barracks arrested Jamila M. Chlih, age 22, of Poughkeepsie, New York, for Criminal Possession of Marihuana in the 2nd Degree, a Class D Felony, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.

Subsequent to a traffic stop conducted on Route 9 in the Town of Wappinger, Jamila Chlih was found to be in possession of Hydrocodone and approximately 1.88 pounds of marihuana.

Chlih was arraigned at the Town of Wappinger Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond. Her next court appearance was scheduled for August 14, 2017, at 5:30 p.m. at the Town of Wappinger Court.
