State Police charge Wappinger man with ID theft and Grand Larceny

Wappinger, New York – On August 2, 2017, New York State Police from the Wappinger barracks arrested Jordan D. Grabowski, age 30, of Wappinger, New York, for Identity Theft in the 2nd Degree and Grand Larceny in the 4th Degree, both Class E Felonies.  Grabowski was additionally charged with Petit Larceny, a Misdemeanor.

On July 25, 2017, Troopers interviewed a Wappinger man who reported that his debit card was stolen from a Town of Wappinger ATM and $1,000 in cash was taken from his account.  Pursuant to an investigation, it was discovered that Grabowski had stolen the victim’s ATM card from the machine and withdrew $1,000 from his bank account.

Grabowski was issued appearance tickets directing him to appear in the Town of Wappinger Justice Court on August 17, 2017.
