State Police investigation indicates that the victim, 24-year-old Mouhamed Cisse of the Bronx, NY, was an occupant in a GMC U-Haul van bearing Arizona license plates with possible right front end damage.

State Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have information that would be helpful to this investigation to contact (914) 769-2600.

Mamaroneck, New York – On July 18, 2017 at approximately 5:49 p.m., the New York State Police from Troop T responded to a reported motor vehicle collision that occurred on Interstate 95 northbound between Exit 18B and 19.

Troopers arrived on scene and located an adult male subject who appeared to have suffered serious injuries including gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to Jacobi Medical Center where he is listed in critical condition.

The incident necessitated the closure of I-95 while the investigation was investigated by members of Troop K and Troop T.

I-95 northbound is now open.
