Amenia – The six roads in the Town of Amenia that were shut down on Thursday are now open, according to Town of Amenia Highway Superintendent Stanley Whitehead.
The roads are now passable but they are extremely muddy because they are all dirt roads.
Repair on the six roads started Thursday including Tower Hill Road, Deep Hollow Road, Flint Hill Road, Cascade Mountain Road, Yellow City Road and Randall Road.
The roads had been shut down for repair due to snow melt and frost heaves.
