PRESS RELEASE
The New York State Police in Haverstraw is investigating a one-car fatal automobile accident that occurred on July 7, 2017 on the Palisades Interstate Parkway, just north of Exit 16 in the Town of Stony Point at approximately 10:00 AM.
Christian M. Liga, age 30, of Monroe, NY, was operating his 2007 Toyota Rav4 southbound when he lost control of the vehicle and traveled into the grassy center median and struck several trees.
The vehicle operator was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is continuing.
