Madeleine Clemmons of Pawling graduates from Union College

SCHENECTADY, NY (06/12/2017)– Madeleine Clemmons, of Pawling, NY, graduated from Union College Sunday during the College’s 223rd Commencement exercises.

Clemmons received a Bachelor of Science degree , majoring in Mechanical Engineering. During the ceremony, speaker John Sexton urged the class to build on their time as a family at Union to navigate the challenges that lie ahead.

“You leave here as communitarians, or what I call possibilitarians,” he said. “Use Union as the North Star as you go through life, use the memories, use the lessons, use the network.”
