State Police are seeking the public’s assistance to help identify subject wanted for questioning

Cortlandt, New York – The New York State Police in Cortlandt are seeking the public’s assistance to help identify the pictured individual in reference to the attempted passing of a counterfeit $100 bill.On May 12, 2017, Troopers were contacted by the owner of 123 Food Stop, located on Route 9A in Montrose, who reported that this subject entered the store and attempted to pay for his merchandise with a counterfeit bill.  The subject left the store after he was advised that the bill was fake and was last seen driving south on Route 9 in a black sedan.  The vehicle is believed to be a black Acura or Toyota sedan.
