The State of New York 6/2/17 – “Protecting Our Planet”

June 2, 2017 – Governor Cuomo signed and Executive Order reaffirming NY’s commitment to fight climate change, formed an alliance with CA and WA to uphold the standards of the Paris Accord, announced the formation of a seawall to strengthen Staten Island’s coastal resiliency, and toured the flood damage of Monroe County, announcing $7M in state funding for those impacted.
