Arrests Made During DWI Sobriety Checkpoint

PRESS RELEASE

 

On Saturday May 27th, 2017, the New York State Police conducted a DWI Sobriety Checkpoint on Route 55 in the Town of Lagrange.  During the detail the following arrests were made:

William Hammond, age 60, from Carmel, NY was arrested for DWI and provided a breath sample that indicated he had a .12% BAC.

Jeffrey Caston, age 57, from Poughkeepsie, NY was arrested for DWI and provided a breath sample that indicated he had a .10% BAC.

Cassaun Miree, age 21, from Poughkeepsie, NY was arrested for Aggravated Felony DWI- Leandra’s Law and provided a breath sample that indicated he had a .18% BAC.

In addition to the DWI arrests there was one arrest made for Unlawful Possession of Marihuana, a violation.
