Poughquag, – The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services issued an alert on Tuesday to Dutchess County residents regarding the residency of 28-year-old Jason Pavelock, who has moved from Poughkeepsie to a motel on Route 55 in Poughquag.
The Division of Criminal Justice Services has assigned Pavelock as a Level 2 threat, which means he is at “moderate risk of a repeat offense.”
Pavelock was arrested last year and charged with possessing a sexual performance by a child under the age of 16. Pavelock was sentenced to 10 years probation and time served in a local jail after being convicted in March and is eligible for post-release supervision in November 2026.
