DCC Foundation Golf Tournament Set for May 22

 

May 8, 2017 – There’s still time to register for the Dutchess Community College Foundation’s 28th Annual Golf Tournament and Dinner set for May 22 at The Links at Union Vale. The event is held annually in memory of Jack Orcutt, who was DCC’s first director of student activities and a founding member of the College staff. Funds raised will go toward student scholarships at DCC.

 

The scramble-format tournament will feature a barbecue lunch, cocktail reception, awards dinner, prizes and a raffle drawing for golf foursomes, gift cards and more. Additionally, tickets to a New York Yankees game and one year of free trash pickup by Royal Carting will be auctioned off.

 

Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. with lunch at 11:30 a.m. and a shotgun start at 1 p.m. The cocktail reception is at 5 p.m., with dinner, awards and the raffle beginning at 6 p.m. Cost is $175 per person.

The DCC Foundation awards approximately $440,000 in scholarships to more than 220 DCC students annually.
