State Police in Monroe seeking the public’s assistance in vandalism case at a Jewish cemetery

PRESS RELEASE

The New York State Police in Monroe are seeking the public’s assistance regarding vandalism that occurred at the Beth Shalom Cemetery on Spankstown Road in the Town of Warwick on October 8, 2016. The vandalism consisted of black spray paint with the words “HEIL HITLER” and other Nazi symbolism (SS bolts and a swastika sign) painted on the front entrance of the Beth Shalom Cemetery brick wall area.

The Jewish Federation of Greater Orange County is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to a conviction in this case. Anyone with information are directed to contact the Town of Warwick Police at 845-986-3423 or the State Police at 845-782-8497
