Five DCC Students Honored for Excellence in Social Sciences

 

DCC Instructor of Government Matthew Murray presents the Eugene Sheridan Award for Excellence in the Social Sciences to student Hannah Collins.

 

May 1, 2017 –Dutchess Community College recently held its annual Eugene Sheridan Awards ceremony, which honors student achievement in social sciences.

 Two History, Government and Economics Departmental Awards for Outstanding Achievement in the Social Sciences were presented. Awardees were Matthew Barbour (Poughquag) and Jessica Minieri (Hopewell Junction).

Taira Braden (Hyde Park) was presented the Ann and Dan Zodikoff Memorial Scholarship. Ryan Munoz (Poughkeepsie) received the Xavier H. Verbeck Memorial Award and Hannah Collins (Amenia) was presented with the Eugene Sheridan Award for Excellence in the Social Sciences.
