Newburgh Man Arrested for Criminal Contempt and Harassment

PRESS RELEASE

04/05/2017 – The New York State Police – Montgomery BCI announce the arrest of 37 year old, Joshua B. Aldrich, of Newburgh, NY, for Criminal Contempt in the First Degree (a class E felony) and Harassment in the Second Degree (a violation) subsequent to an investigation into a domestic dispute that occurred in the Town of Newburgh. Additionally, Aldrich was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the Second Degree (an unclassified misdemeanor).

Aldrich was arraigned before Judge Clarino in the Town of Newburgh Court and subsequently remanded to Orange County Jail without bail and ordered to return to Newburgh Town Court on 04/10/17 at 6pm.

Aldrich was also arraigned on an outstanding warrant issued by the Town of Chester Justice Court for Vehicle and Traffic Law related offenses. On those offenses, Aldrich was remanded to Orange County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash/ $1,000 bond and was ordered to appear in the Town of Chester Court on 05/01/2017.
