Troop K – SP Rhinebeck station cleaner Betty Weingaertner recently celebrated 20 years of service with the State Police in Troop K.
A brief ceremony was held at SP Rhinebeck on March 28, 2017 and she was presented with a certificate. Pictured (left to right) are her husband Emil Weingaertner, Captain Michael Jankowiak, Betty Weingaertner, Acting Station Commander/Sergeant Christopher Kyle and Zone Sergeant Michael Piasecki.
Captain Jankowiak was a Sergeant at Rhinebeck and Zone Sergeant Piasecki a Trooper, when Betty was first hired in 1997.
Whether sharing her cooking, motivating and managing the station softball team or babysitting on a moment’s notice, Betty truly has been and will always be a part of our State Police family.
