Funding Public Comment Period on Projects in Stanford and Amenia, Wassaic Trail to Train project in the Town of Amenia and the final phase of the Harlem Valley Rail Trail.

The Poughkeepsie-Dutchess County Transportation Council (PDCTC) has initiated a 15-day public comment period for an amendment to its Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2017-2021 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP): the five-year capital program that assigns federal funds to transportation projects located in Dutchess County. The amendment adds a new project in the City of Beacon for the installation of pedestrian countdown timers, adds a BRIDGE NY project in the Town of Stanford, and adds repurposed earmark funding for the completion of the Wassaic Trail to Train project in the Town of Amenia and the final phase of the Harlem Valley Rail Trail.
