Anna “Nannina” DiGiovanni Curcio, the mother of Raffaelina Grestini, Enrico Curcio, Lucia Venusio, and Anna Maria Conte.
Anna has three son-in-laws; Robert Grestini, Luciano Venusio, and Gerardo Conte. She also has a wonderful daughter-in-law, Carmela Curcio. In addition, Anna Curcio has 10 beautiful grandchildren and 7 loving great grandchildren.
Anna immigrated to the United States from Ponza, Italy in December of 1969 and loved the US from the moment she stepped foot on US soil. Anna has been a long time devoted member and supporter of the San Silverio Shrine of Dover Plains. She loved and looked forward to attending all the events at the shrine and seeing her close Ponzese friends and family.
She was surrounded by her family when she passed. She lived a beautiful life and her last hours were full of laughter and happiness. May she rest in peace in the arms of the angels and may eternal light shine upon her.
Visiting will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at 321 S Main St, New City, NY from 4-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at St. Augustine Church in New City at 11am, entombment will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale.
