Town of Lloyd Police reports the arrest for the following:
PETER J. PENNISI age: 58
Highland, NY
Pennisi was arrested February 14th and charged with felony Assault 2nd degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th degree. Pennisi is accused of assaulting his brother with a hammer during a domestic dispute at a residence in Highland.
The 54 year old victim was treated at Vassar Brothers Hospital for lacerations to his head and face area and was released. Pennisi was arraigned before Town of Marlboro Judge Kraiza and remanded to the Ulster County Jail on $25,000 cash bail, $50,000 insurance bond and is due back in the Town of Lloyd Court on February 16, 2017.
