Mr. Conklin was born January 24, 1941 in Roslyn, NY to Madeline and Coleman Conklin.
Bruce was a graduate of Millbrook High School where he played football and later was inducted into the Hall of Fame.
He worked as an electrician for over 40 years with Briggs Electric in Millbrook
Bruce could accomplish anything he set his mind to do and his interests included family, hunting, fishing, tinkering and anything outdoors.
Bruce is survived by his son and daughter in law James and Elizabeth Conklin, as well as four amazing grandkids; Georgia, Courtney, Emily and Ben. He is also survived by his sister Jane Valentine and brother and sister and law Carl and Esther Conklin along with several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 22 from 6-8 pm at 3270 Franklin Ave., Millbrook.
