Columbia-Greene Community College announces the February 9 reception opening an exhibition of more than 100 paintings by students of Robert A. Lahm of Cornwallville, Greene County. The reception will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Kaaterskill Gallery adjoining the college library in the north end of the main building at 4400 Route 23, Hudson, NY (518) 828-4191.

 

Lahm’s years of study at the Montclair (NJ) Art Museum School and his many years as a successful commercial artist in Manhattan and as a winner of many juried exhibitions have made him a valuable addition to the college art faculty, according to his students.

 

The exhibition is open to the public through Saturday, Feb. 25, from 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 to 5 p.m.Saturdays.

Columbia County exhibitors include Gerald F. Roberts of Ancramdale, Donna Benware of Clermont, Robert Alexander and Elayne Holbrook of East Chatham, Darcie Cristello of Hudson, Cheryl Fitzgibbons of Niverville, and Marilyn Marbrook of Germantown.

Greene County exhibitors include Madeline Behrmann, Eugenia Randazzo and Georgia VanZutphen  of Athens; Ann Collins, Joan Starr and Jeannine Zwoboda of Catskill, and Sandra Pysher of Cementon.
