Underage Drinking Initiative Results in One Arrest

On Friday January 27, 2017, the State Police at Highland conducted an underage drinking initiative.  The initiative targeted the sale of alcohol to minors and consisted of a team of State Police members.  An underage female operative was utilized with the team to attempt to purchase alcoholic beverages from 21 establishments in the Ulster County towns of New Paltz, Lloyd, Esopus, Ulster, Rosendale and the city of Kingston.  One arrest was made during the detail.

The following individual was charged with the Sale of Alcohol to a Person Under 21 which is a violation of the Alcohol Beverage Control Law:

The State Police commend the continued efforts of local businesses to help keep alcohol out of the hands of minors.
