Rock Hill man discharges firearm during domestic dispute

The New York State Police at Wurtsboro announce the arrest of William Finkel, age 42 of Rock Hill, NY for Reckless Endangerment in the First Degree (Class D Felony), Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Menacing in the Second Degree (both Class A Misdemeanors).

Finkel was involved in a domestic dispute with his adult son and during this dispute Finkel discharged one round from a .22 rifle.  Three children, all under the age of 17, were also present during the incident.  No persons were injured.  Finkel was arraigned in the Town of Mamakating Court and remanded to Sullivan County Jail pending a future court appearance.
