Bronx man charged with aggravated harassment

Cortlandt, New York – On January 10, 2017, New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks arrested Anthony G. Alfano, 39 years old, of Bronx, New York, for Aggravated Harassment in the 2nd Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.

At 2:10 p.m., State Police responded to Hudson Valley Hospital for a report of a threat made against hospital staff via telephone. Subsequent to an investigation conducted by police, the caller was identified as Anthony G. Alfano.

Alfano turned himself over to police at the Cortlandt Barracks and was charged with Aggravated Harassment in the 2nd Degree. The defendant was arraigned before the Honorable Daniel O’Brien in the Village of Buchanan Court and remanded to Westchester County Jail in lieu of $1,500 cash bail.  Alfano is due to appear in the Town of Cortlandt Court on January 13, 2017 at 9:00 a.m.
