Four Pennsylvannia residents arrested for drug possession.

 The New York State Police – Montgomery BCI announce the arrest of 36 year old Walter A. Griffith and 20 year old Gianna M. Rose, both of Dingmans Ferry, PA, as well as 36 year old Kristin M. Strouse, of Matamoras, PA, and 34 year old Stephen P. King of Milford, PA, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fourth Degree (a class C felony).

On January 5, 2017 subsequent to vehicle and traffic stop conducted on Interstate 84 by SP Montgomery patrols for speeding, an investigation revealed that the vehicle driven by Walter Griffith contained a quantity of unlawfully possessed oxycodone pills which were found in a common area within the vehicle.  Investigation led to all four subjects being arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fourth Degree.

All four subjects were arraigned in the Town of Montgomery Court and subsequently remanded to Orange County Jail. Griffith and King are being held on $25,000 cash/$50,000 bond. Rose and Strouse are currently being held on $10,000 cash / $20,000 bond.
