Poughkeepsie, New York – On January 3, 2017, the New York State Police in Rhinebeck arrested 23-year-old Arianna Holt, and Kristen Zietz, age 25, of Hyde Park, for Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd Degree a Class D Felony.

In December of 2016, State Police were contacted by a Hyde Park resident who reported several checks had been forged and cashed from her bank account without her authorization.  An investigation revealed that the defendants stole 3 checks belonging to the victim, who was a family member.  Zietz and Holt received approximately $414 by passing the forged checks at the Mid-Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union in Poughkeepsie.

The defendants were arraigned in the Town of Poughkeepsie Court and remanded to Dutchess County Jail.
