James Biele, 78, passed away Monday, December 26, 2016 at his home in Pawling, NY.
Born in Baltimore, MD on June 13, 1938, he was the son of Frank and Anne (Martin) Biele and husband of the late Edith Gavula who predeceased him on December 11, 2008.
Mr. Biele worked as a manager at Toy & Sports Warehouse in New Rochelle, NY before retiring.
He is survived by his son, Kenneth (Ann) of Middlebury, CT; four daughters, Brigitta Braatz of Newark, DE, Katherine (Terry) Jones of New Fairfield, CT, Loretta (Michael) Montemarano of Pawling, NY, Kelly (Paul) wood of New Hyde Park, NY, and Kim Biele of Boston, MA; his sister, Carol, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; many loving grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and his good friend of many years, Jean Merandino of Pawling.
Services were private under the direction of the Horn & Thomes, Inc. Funeral Home, 83 East Main Street, Pawling, NY.
