State Police from Dover arrest Albany man for felony driving while ability impaired by drugs in North East

North East, New York – On December 25, 2016, New York State Police from the Dover barracks arrested Christopher C. Laundry, 34 years old, of Albany, New York, for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs, a Class E Felony, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.

Troopers stopped the vehicle Laundry was operating on Route 22 for speeding. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by drugs and possessed cocaine.

Laundry was charged with Felony DWAI drugs when a criminal history revealed a previous DWI related conviction from 2013.

After being evaluated by a Drug Recognition Expert, Laundry was arraigned in the Town of North East Court and released on $1000 cash bail.
