PLEASANT VALLEY – Lillian A. Krom, 90 of Pleasant Valley, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at MidHudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie.
Born in Millbrook, NY on September 22, 1926, she was the daughter of Martin and Mary Mathis Kelly.
On March 28, 1948 in Stanfordville, NY, Lillian married Roscoe W. Krom, Jr. Mr. Krom predeceased her on August 21, 2004.
Lillian was a devoted parishioner of St. Stanislaus Church. She enjoyed playing cards, scratch offs and her weekly Bingo games. She loved to spend time with her family and friends.
Lillian is survived by her daughter Jean Huber and her husband Tim of Pleasant Valley; her son, Richard Krom of Santa Rosa, CA.; her grandchildren, David Kricheff and his wife Sasha, Matthieu Huber and Patrick Huber; her great grandchildren, Jacob, Maxwell and Elliana Kricheff and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Patricia Kricheff in 2006 and brothers and sisters, Jean Depken, Lucy Krom, Agnes Davis, Josephine Maher, Sebastian Kelly, George Kelly, John Kelly and James Kelly.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, November 29 at 11 am from St. Stanislaus Church, Main St., Pleasant Valley. Interment will follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Poughkeepsie.
Memorial donations may be made in Lillian’s memory to a charity of choice .
