State Police are seeking the public’s assistance to help locate missing Hudson woman

Chatham, New York – New York State Police from the New Lebanon barracks are seeking the public’s assistance to help locate 56-year-old Darlene A. Cowden, of Hudson, New York.

On October 25, 2016, Troopers were contacted by Cowden’s mother who reported that she has not been able to make contact with her daughter for approximately one month. Cowden reportedly suffers from mental illness and may be in need of medical attention.

Cowden is described as a white female with hazel eyes and is approximately 5’6” tall.  Family does not believe that Cowden has access to a vehicle or a cellular phone. Cowden’s last known address was at the St. Charles Hotel in Hudson, New York.

Troopers have checked several locations attempting to locate Cowden.  Anyone with information regarding Cowden or her whereabouts is asked to contact the New York State Police by calling (845) 677-7300.
