WASSAIC, NY— The Wassaic Project announces that it will be hosting its annual Haunted Mill and Monster’s Ball this Saturday, October 29th. Over fourteen artists have transformed the towering Maxon Mills into an immersive Halloween experience. Equal parts spooky, enchanting, creepy, and fanciful — there’s something for everyone (even the tiniest visitors!). Festivities range from kid-friendly (3-5pm) to teens and adults of all ages (6-9pm). The party continues into the evening at The Monster’s Ball (9pm-late) with Prince Rama at The Lantern.

Perfect for families, the Kids’ Haunted Mill features activities for kids of all ages. Get into character with face painting, capture memories in a creepy photo booth, hop onto a hayride, play carnival games, or get creative at art stations! Costumed kids are welcome to compete in the costume contest for the most creative attire! Be sure to journey through Artist Jeila Gueramian’s enchanting installation, Beyond the Way.

From 6 – 9pm, the Adults’ Haunted Mill opens to teens and adults of all ages. Venture up the winding staircases of Maxon Mills, where artists have transformed the tower into seven floors of thrills and chills. At 9pm, the party will continue at the Lantern with the Monster’s Ball, where Prince Rama, the Brooklyn-based, electro-dance duo and Wassaic Summer Festival alumni, will take the stage for one of their energetic live shows. Dance into the evening with DJ sets by PJ Gray and Spooky Bear. Costumes are mandatory, and partygoers should be prepared to impress. Tickets to the Monster’s Ball are $10, and can be purchased in advance at: wassaichauntedmill.eventbrite.com.
