Red Hook woman charged with endangering the welfare of a child

Rhinebeck, New York – On October 13, 2016, New York State Police in Rhinebeck arrested 26-year-old Dixie E. Castrejon of Red Hook, New York, for Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a Class A Misdemeanor.
Castrejon is accused of forcibly grabbing and pulling an 11-year-old child by the back of his shirt. As a result of her actions, the child hit his back and head on a cement wall.
The defendant was processed on the above charge and released with an appearance ticket directing her to appear before the Village of Rhinebeck Court on November 3, 2016 at 4:30 p.m.
