Circleville Man Arrested for Tampering with Evidence Related to Speights Homicide

New York State Police in Middletown announce the arrest of Robert A. Lemmount, age 21, of Circleville, New York.  Troopers arrested Lemmount on September 28, 2016, and charged him one count of Tampering with physical evidence.  The charge stems from the investigation into the murder of Justin Speights on January 1^st of this year in the Town of Crawford.  Through the investigation into the murder, it was determined that Lemmount deleted electronic evidence from his cell phone shortly after Speights was killed.  Lemmount was arraigned before Town of Crawford Justice Jane P. Harrington and committed to Orange County Jail in lieu of $25,000.00 cash bail or $50,000.00 secured bond.
