Kent- Marion Ann Adams, 86, a lifelong area resident died peacefully on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at Sharon Health Care Center in Sharon, CT. Marion also resided in Florida and Dover Plains prior to her passing. Marion worked for many years at Kent Center School in the cafeteria and at Kent Manufacturing in production.
Born May 29, 1930 in Kent, CT she was the daughter of the late Charles and Anne Watts. On July 14, 1984 in Kent, CT she married Harry C. Adams, Jr. Mr. Adams died January 12, 2009. Marion enjoyed playing and listening music. She had a knack for being able to play any instrument she picked up. She enjoyed spending time with her family and made many special memories while living with her loving daughter Vicki and her grandson Tyler in her later years.
Survivors include her three children, William (Darlene) Gerardi of Torrington, Kathy Gerardi of Pennsylvania and Vicki Ross of Wingdale, two grandchildren; Danielle Gerardi and Tyler Ross, a brother; Russell (Elsie) Watts of New Milford and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she was also predeceased by five siblings.
Graveside services and burial will take place on Monday, October 17, 2016 at 11am at Congregation Church Cemetery, 97 North Main Street, Kent, CT. Pastor Melinda M. Keck will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to Torrington Dialysis, 780 Litchfield St. Suite 100, Torrington, CT 06790.
