Poughkeepsie… The Dutchess County Department of Public Works (DPW) has announced Ridge Road was reopened to traffic this afternoon following work to realign the roadway and replace bridge D-32 over Coopertown Brook in the Town of Dover. Ridge Road averages approximately 550 vehicles per day.

Motorists will continue to see ongoing work over the next several weeks including the installation of permanent guide rail, removal of the old bridge, grading work along the old roadbed and bridge site as well as miscellaneous clean-up work that may result in one-lane traffic patterns for limited period, but will not require additional road closures.

For more information, please contact the Dutchess County Department of Public Works at (845) 486-2925.
