State Police Seize Marihuana Plants Growing at a Residence off Oniontown Road

Dover, New York – On September 23, 2016, New York State Police from Dover Plains barracks arrested George Anderson, age 55, of Dover, New York, for unlawful growing of cannabis, a Class A Misdemeanor, and Criminal Possession of Marihuana 5th, a Class B Misdemeanor.

State troopers were conducting an investigation on an unrelated matter, when they observed marihaua plants growing on a neighbor’s property.  State Police seized 14 full grown marihuana plants growing on Anderson’s property.

Anderson was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Dover Court on September 29, 2016 at 6:00pm.
