Liberty Troopers Apprehend Wanted Parolee

On September 16, 2016 State Police at Liberty were contacted by NYS Parole who requested assistance in locating a wanted parolee. John Napolitano, age 47 of Livingston Manor, NY was wanted on an active parole violation warrant. Napolitano was under the supervision of NYS Department of Corrections and Community Supervision for a Robbery 1st degree conviction in the year 2000. Troopers and Investigators assigned to the Liberty barracks ultimately located Napolitano in a wooded area of Swan Lake, NY. He was taken into custody without incident. He was remanded to the Sullivan County Jail pending a parole hearing. State Police were assisted in the investigation by officers from NYS Dept of Corrections and Community Superivsion.
