Mother of Two Arrested after leaving Children unattended in vehicle

On September 10th, 2016, members of the New York State Police, Troop F, at SP Ellenville, announce the arrest of a female for Endangering the Welfare of a Child in the Town of Wawarsing N.Y.

Arrested was Semaji S. Crawford, age 25, of Flushing, New York who was charged with 2 counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a Misdemeanor.

The New York State Police responded for two children left unattended in a vehicle in the Napanoch Wal-Mart parking lot. The investigation revealed that Semaji S. Crawford left her two children, ages 8 months old and one year old, in her vehicle unattended with the windows down and the vehicle running while she was shopping in the Wal-Mart store for approximately seven minutes.

Semaji Crawford was arrested and processed at SP Ellenville. She was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Wawarsing Court on September 16th, 2016 at 8:30am.
