Come and show your support for public education by participating in a “walk-in” organized by the Webutuck Teachers’ Association.  On October 6th, Webutuck Central School District will be joining over 200 other cities and towns across the nation in an event that unites parents, students, administrators, and teachers in our support of quality public schools that ALL of our students deserve.

During a walk-in, parents, educators, and students all gather together outside the school at the beginning of the day and enter the school together to symbolize a united front in support of our schools and our communities.  A walk-in is apositive endorsement of public education.

We invite you to join our walk-in on Thursday, October 6th:

Webutuck High School and Eugene Brooks Intermediate School
7:15am

Webutuck Elementary School
8:40am

This nationwide walk-in for public education was organized by the Alliance to Reclaim Our Schools (AROS).  AROS believes that the best way to ensure that each and every child has the opportunity to pursue a rich and productive life is through a system of publicly funded, equitable and democratically controlled public schools.
