State Police are investigating a serious crash that occurred on I684 in the Town of North Salem

North Salem, New York – On September 9, 2016 at approximately 3:15 p.m., New York State Police from Somers responded to Interstate 684 southbound, in the area of Hardscrabble Road, for a reported two-car collision with injuries.
Troopers on the scene are reporting that a SUV taxi was stopped on the shoulder of the roadway, occupied by the driver and one passenger. A white Nissan Pathfinder, occupied by the driver only, was traveling southbound and struck the rear of the taxi SUV.
The passenger traveling in the taxi sustained serious injuries.
The State Police are asking anyone that may have witnessed the crash to contact investigators from Somers by calling (914) 769-2600.
There are heavy delays on I684 southbound as members of the State Police continue to investigate this crash.
