Berkshire Taconic Announces Final Round of 2016 Grant Deadlines for Dutchess County

Sheffield, Mass. — Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation today announced the fourth and final round of deadlines for competitive grants in 2016. Covering the period fromOctober 1 through December 31, the fall cycle of deadlines is open to regional nonprofits, schools and individuals.

 

FOR NONPROFITS & INDIVIDUALS

The Wassermann-Streit Y’diyah Memorial Fund supports projects that encourage learning about Judaism and dispel religious intolerance. Grants of up to $500 will be awarded. Applications are due November 1.

 

FOR NONPROFITS & SCHOOLS

The Webutuck Quest for Excellence Fund for the Webutuck Central School District supports developmental and literacy projects for children in pre-k through third grade. Grants between $500 and $1,000 will be awarded. Applications are due December 1.

 

FOR INDIVIDUALS
The Tupelo Award Fund provides grants of up to $1,000 to Berkshire County residents ages 16 to 36 to research a topic of demonstrated interest. Applications are due October 15.
