Obituary, Albert W. Cahill

Pine Plains, NY – Albert W. Cahill, 65, passed away Saturday, September 3rd, at his home in Pine Plains.

Albert was a longtime Pine Plains resident and worked for many years as a kitchen designer at Lloyd Lumber in Billings and Amenia. He was a parishioner of Saint Anthony’s Church, Pine Plains

Those who know him well, know how proud he was in the care he dedicated to his home, yard and lawn mower.

He also enjoyed hunting, traveling and photography.

Born January 13, 1951, in Brooklyn, he was the son of Matthew and Antoinette (DiMarzio) Cahill.

Albert is survived by his wife Deborah (Sigler) Cahill whom he married in 1972; two sons, Jeff and his wife Becky, and Brian; a granddaughter Natalie;

a sister Lisa Bloodgood and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a sister Linda Terstenyak.

Calling hours are Friday, September 9th, from 4 to 7 PM, at  7749 Main St., Pine Plains.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, September 10th, at 11 AM, from St. Anthony’s Church, Pine Plains.

Private burial with Military Honors will take place at the Gerald B. Solomon National Cemetery, Saratoga, at the convenience of the family.
