PRESS RELEASE
Yonkers, NY – On September 1, 2016, at approximately 10:40 p.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-87 for a speeding violation. The driver of the vehicle, Jared K. Singer, 33, of Mahopac, NY, was found to be intoxicated. He was transported and processed at SP Tarrytown, where his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.10%. Additionally, he has a prior DWI conviction within the last 10 years and as a result was subsequently charged with:
- Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated; a Class E Felony
- Numerous Vehicle and Traffic Violations
Singer was turned over to a sober third party and released on appearance tickets returnable to the City of Yonkers Court on September 16, 2016 at 9:30 a.m.
