Troopers arrest Schodack man for felony driving while intoxicated

Kinderhook, New York – On August 14, 2016, New York State Police from the New Lebanon barracks arrested Roscoe A. Quint, 19 years old, of Schodack, New York, for Driving While Intoxicated, a Class E Felony and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana, a Violation.

Troopers were dispatched to assist a disabled motorist on Chatham Street.  While interviewing the driver, identified as Quint, Troopers observed clues that indicated he was intoxicated.  Quint was also charged with possessing approximately 7 grams of marihuana.

Quint was charged with Felony DWI when a criminal history revealed a previous DWI related conviction from April of 2016.  He was additionally charged with operating a motor vehicle that was not equipped with an interlock device.

The defendant was arraigned before the Honorable Judge Dellehunt and released on his own recognizance.  Quint is scheduled to appear in the Town of Kinderhook Court on September 12, 2016.
